Easy Crockpot Chicken Alfredo


Easy Crockpot Chicken Alfredo

This is a super simple dish which the whole family will love.

Ingredients:

4 chicken breasts
Can of mushroom soup
1/4 cup Zesty Italian dressing
2 cloves of garlic, minced
8 - 10 mushrooms, sliced
4 oz (1/2 block) cream cheese
1 cup frozen peas

Directions:

Mix soup, dressing and garlic in the crockpot.  Add chicken breasts and mushrooms.  Cook on low for 6 - 8 hours.  Shred chicken with 30 minutes of cooking time left (either in the crockpot or take out and shred in a bowl).  Put the chicken back in to the crockpot and add the cream cheese and peas.  Stir together and cook for the remainder of the time.  

Serve with your favourite pasta or rice.

      You don't have to cook the chicken before putting it into the crockpot. Makes for a very easy recipe!
